Fabulous Get-Away Cabin
Fabulous little cabin. The host was easily accessible. She answered all our questions. The cleanliness of the cabin was amazing. Everything you needed was supplied for a few days stay. Wash & Dryer. No dishwasher but ya know you just don't use as many dishes. The creek and access to it was fantastic. We go to the mountains to hike but we always want to stay on a river or creek. Being able to sit out on the deck or put our feet itn it after hiking the mountains all day or shopping in downtown Ellijay. It was refreshing. We will stay at this cabin again!!! Thank you Ms. Cassie and family for sharing such a beautiful site with others. Young Family Niceville, FL

Perfect place to relax and unwind !
I absolutely fell in love with this cabin and the surrounding neighborhood. Ellijay was a few miles down the road and Blue Ridge was easy to get to as well. The cabin is clean and well equipped complete with a s’mores station! The guest guide had lots of suggestions for hiking and sightseeing. The outside decks are so peaceful with the stream and birds singing in the cool mornings. Ahhhhh!! I’ll be back!

Country Cabin
Nice cabin and very clean. A little too far from town for daily commute. The only down side to our visit was the narrow and winding gravel road with deep ditches along the side. Too Intimidating for me. Also the parking is very tight. We had trouble turning around.

My family and I had a wonderful experience renting from Cassie. She was always prompt and answered any questions we had. She was flexible and even let us come a few days early last minute since our town was heavily impacted by a hurricane. The cabin was just as pictured! Clean and stocked with items you may have forgotten. 10/10 stay!

A Stay Away From It All
This was the perfect property for getting away from it all. We stayed a week and really enjoyed just being able to disconnect. But we were close enough to Elijay to enjoy all the town had to offer as well. We took several drives through the mountains and enjoyed the scenery and the local wineries.

Spring break in the North Georgia Mountains.
The stay was wonderful. Both of our boys enjoyed the serene outdoor setting. A lot of the local adventures are close by which the whole family enjoyed exploring, hiking, and Bear Claw Vineyards.

MLK weekend escape!
We had a wonderful time during our stay. It is the coziest cutest little property. The decor is perfect and it had everything we needed for our stay. It was very clean and organized. The property surrounding the cabin is just beautiful. We loved the s’mores station, the fire pit right next to the creek, and playing in the creek. We will definitely visit here again.

relaxing getaway
The cabin and it's surroundings are amazing--beautiful, easy to get to and find and conveniently located. The house had everything we needed. The only problem we had was the fact that we couldn't control the thermostat on our own but had to contact the owner to find a comfortable temperature. When we woke in the middle of the night burning up, I didn't feel that it was appropriate to text and ask her to lower the temp. It was also frustrating when I couldn't get in the front door with the code provided. I was there for almost 30 minutes before I was able to get in and it was very cold in the cabin (the heat was completely off). I spent about 10 minutes trying to figure out how to work the thermostat, only to find out that it had to be controlled on the owners end. It would have been nice to know that pryor to my arrival.

Great Place
We had a wonderful time at The Barn. The cabin was charming and very clean. Our host, Cassie, was friendly and responded quickly to emails. Our only complaint was the rainy weather, but we were still able to enjoy the creek and peaceful surroundings from the covered porch. We hope to come back again soon.

Great Peaceful getaway
We had such a great time exploring Ellijay. This location worked well once we were able to find it. Our pup loved playing outdoors and in the creek. Very relaxing and great porches to spend time on in the morning and evening. Everything inside was great and the kitchen was perfect for cooking breakfast and dinner. Definitely recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful place to stay.

Great cabin
Everything was perfect. The roads were easy to get in, the check-in process was easy. It had everything that was described in the listing. We enjoyed campfires, cooking, relaxing and going for apple picking. Ellijay is a great town with shopping and restaurants and the mountain town creek down the road was a short drive, you pass it on the way in. Didn’t catch any fish but it seems like a great fishing spot. The kids and I enjoyed walking up and down the creek in our water boots. We saw 8 to 10 deer crossing the creek by the cabin one morning. Cassie was very communicative if we needed to talk to her about anything and was very nice and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay here.

Absolutely Perfect!
The property was so beautiful and everything we’d ever need was available at the cabin. The stream (or babbling brook as we like to call it 😂) was so peaceful. Found ourselves right in the heart of nature, yet so close to Ellijay and the Fort Mountain State Park. Absolutely recommend staying here and we plan to return soon.

Wonderful All-Needs Met Cabin
The cabin's setup was really clean and organised with the all the necessities as well as odd-ball needs for pet parents. The creek was truly babbling, the starts are visible at night, and it was so quiet and peaceful during all hours. Not in a neighbourhood but other well-maintained and hospitable people live nearby for a secure feeling when night falls it is completely dark which was incredible. Close enough drive to the town of Elijay for easy dining and small town walking. Highly recommend this property

Peace and Tranquility
The property was eveything that was promised and more...The creek was perfect for our German Shepard. She played in the creek for hours a day. We had everything we needed for our stay, right down to ingredients for smores. Once we stocked the fridge, the only reason we needed to leave was to visit the town of Ellijay or sight seeing. Overall, I would recommend to anyone who wants to get away and relax...also there are many things to do if you are looking for a physically challenging vacation...Thank you so much!!!

Wonderful Getaway
The perfect place for a long weekend and much needed downtime! A quick drive from Atlanta, close enough to town to stock up for the weekend and settle in. We spent time reading, sitting in the creek, grilling, and enjoying the little slice of heaven that is the Barn. Our dog loved sniffing new smells and playing in the creek, and all the pet-friendly touches were great. The human ones were wonderful too, like the very thorough home info binder, separate makeup/face towels, great labels for light switches and such, and plenty of creature comforts like a variety of coffee and tea options, loads of pillows and blankets, and puzzles & card games. We had a lovely summer weekend, and I can only imagine how comfy and cozy this place is in the winter! We’ll have to go back!
