“My family was in desperate need of a Thanksgiving away. We had high hopes when booking this secluded cabin and those hopes were met and exceeded. We so greatly enjoyed all we could of the outdoor spaces, even with a cold front blowing through. And the interior was very comfortable and more spacious than we expected. This property is out in the country and the many bugs anxious to escape the cold air into the house reminded us of that. Some elements of the cabin are dated, some light switches...

“This is my second time staying at this location and I fall in love each time. Cool breezy mornings, fresh air and stunning sunsets were a part of my stay daily. For those who like to exercise, the long country road is serene and safe (2 or 3 cars came through on my 1 hour walk). The accommodations fulfill every need. If only for 1 night, I suggest you stay here, and I guarantee; you will rebook. Thank you to the owners for the hospitality and conversations. 5-stars.”

“My husband and I celebrated our 30th anniversary of when we meet with this rental of a cabin in the woods! It was very cozy and we enjoyed it so much. The beds were great. The porch was nice. The couch was terrible. I would suggest investing in a comfortable couch for guests who like to chill and watch tv! But we made it work and were glad to have this place to stay for the weekend. The owners communicated with us very well. ”

“We were looking for a venue to host our friends and family that came into town for my daughter’s wedding. This was the perfect location. It was 12 minutes from Wolf gap which is where the wedding ceremony and reception took place. really enjoyed this cabin. It would be a great place. If you want to just get away from this city, beautiful property makes it feel like you’re the only ones around and the wildlife and the sounds are outstanding. ”

“The property was easy to find. 30 min -1 hr away from places we visited. There were air fresheners all over the house and a damp-rid container. Once we got home we realized our clothes and things smelled musty and moldy. The yard is not all the way fenced. The gates don’t close all the way and there are holes in the fence. 2 of the 3 surrounding yards had big dogs (including a pit mix) that all barked a lot. The first half of our stay the grass was past our ankles then someone finally cut it....
