“The property was peaceful. Lots of birds flittering about. If you like to fish, especially for bass this is a great place. Every 2 hour trip I took out I caught 10-15 bass. All 3.5+ pounds. The largest was over 5 and I had multiple that size. The location of the fire pit right by the lake was a perfect end to the days. Will definitely be booking again. There are some minor spruce up repairs to be made but communication with the host indicated they plan to do those this year. ”

“This home was such a blessing to us! While visiting Battle Lake for our grandmothers funeral, this home was our family retreat and certainly provided what we needed. We had a great time around the fire pit, we enjoyed the lake, played games in the large backyard and watched a magnificent storm over the lake from the enclosed porch. “This old home was obviously updated with patience and love. The attention given to the beautiful, cohesive decor resulted in a very aesthetically pleasing stay. The outdoor deck was spacious delightfully lit, and provided a wonderful view of the small, quiet lake. Our family truly enjoyed our stay. One of our favorite amenities was access to the paddleboards and kayaks. We would absolutely stay again. ”
