“Our first stop off as part of a month in Kefalonia. Faro Del Porto had everything g we needed but a special mention for the view from our room, it was superb. The welcome was lovely and we have every intention of returning next year. We loved Poros, an area we haven’t previously stayed in tending to stay in the north of the island. “A beautiful place. It was clean and quiet with an excellent pool. Rooms were well equipped and very well maintained. Staff were excellent, welcoming and helpful. It is a 40 walk from Skala but there is an excellent and cheap hotel shuttle and the walk itself was lovely.”

“No one at front desk—a man arrived but did not speak English; we thought he was a guest but he called someone on his cell phone and handed it to me—a woman spoke with me briefly and then the man showed us to our room. Old refrigerator; door did not close, freezer was full of frost. Very few patrons; good because cheap hollow core doors shut very loudly and marble floors very noisy. We could hear two people arguing on higher floor. 3 min walk to nice beach with an attendant bringing drinks. ...

“A beautiful place. Location was perfect , not in the centre of everything but within walking distance of the village, beach etc. Lovely big rooms. Amazing pool and the owner Sofia was helpful and friendly. ”
