“My stay here was nice, but I suggest arriving there during the day, it's very dark there at night. The place was very nice and tropical nature feel. It was clean but smells like cedar, if that bothers you. Very comfy bed too. I stayed two nights with no problems. The area is dark and nothing around. Very secluded and a little eery when staying alone but it is very close to the volcano which is why I came! All in all great stay! ”

“Loved the view from the living room, dining room, and lanai - 180 degrees of ocean. We even saw whales!!The hosts were very responsive. We had trouble with a bedroom light, they had it fixed the next day. And when the power went out while we were away, they texted to warn us, and supplied flashlights and drinking water to make sure we'd be OK.I can't recommend this place enough!! Next time we travel to Hawaii I hope it's available!”

“This was a great property. I stayed in one of the one bedroom apartments with an extra bed in the living room. It was comfortable. The yard was beautiful. The owners were extremely helpful and easy to work with over the phone and by text. The gardens were amazing. This property was very easily accessible to the Hilo side of the island. We were about an hour from volcanoes national park and we were about an hour in the other direction from many great venues. Would I stay here again? Yes I would.”
