“What a great oasis—this was the perfect place for our adult family of five to get away from our busy lives. The outdoor spaces are comfortable and there was plenty of things to do without leaving the property. Excellent restaurants within a 5-10 minute drive meant we only went into the city once. Rick is a perfect host, communicating regularly and responding quickly. We would stay here again!”

“When we arrived this house (or "camp" as they say) was clean, well-stocked, has a quality about it, and has an awesome view of a slow-moving river. It took a very still night with calm water for a flashlight to penetrate the water enough to see a single alligator swimming. There are mosquitoes around, but don't spoil an evening on the Adirondack chairs looking out over the river. The camp is well built but does vibrate when the wind comes up, might be disconcerting to some, and I guess is a...

“Four of us (two couples) came to Mandeville for the Wooden Boat Festival taking place in Madisonville. The house is perfect with a great location, very clean, and supplied with all the utensils that you would need. It is also just down the street from several restaurants and our favorite, Rip's On The Lake. We will definitely book this again on our next trip to the North Shore.”

“Its location is great. You have many thing to do in the local area and New Orleans is just down the road. It is very spacious. Below is why I rated 4 star CONS: This place does not have an oven just stove top. Make sure to call your host 5 days in advance and have all moth balls removed. We all got headaches the first day and was removing bags of moth balls. We got most out and were to tolerate the smell our last two days”
