We arrived at unit XXXXA at 7:40 p.m. and were finally able to enter an hour later. Vacasa had sent me 10 emails before our arrival, all with the wrong unit number (XXXXA) and incorrect check-in instructions. It was dark and raining, and after spending about 15 minutes trying to get in, I called Vacasa. It took 10 minutes to reach an operator and another 10 minutes for the property manager to call me back.
To make matters worse, the instructions directed us to a unit two doors to the left (XXXXA), referenced a lobby that doesn't exist, and provided the wrong keypad code. While we were stuck outside, we met some neighbors who had experienced the exact same issue the day before.
After 10 minutes on the phone, we were able to reset the code and finally enter. No apologies were offered for the inconvenience.
On a positive note, the room is clean and as advertised. The appliances and kitchenware are new, the view is nice, and the neighbors are respectful. I hope Vacasa reviews their own instructions and fixes these issues after reading this review.
