Este estudio es la escapada perfecta para el descanso y la relajación. Disfrute del tiempo alrededor de la hoguera, o leyendo en el patio grande de las casas, rodeado de bosques espesos. A lo largo del patio, hay esculturas y otras obras de arte que despertarán su imaginación. En el interior, el estudio tiene un ambiente rústico y amaderado, con estallidos de obras de arte en las paredes. La cocina es ideal para cocinar liviana y está equipada con las herramientas que necesitará.

Para practicar senderismo, Turtleback Mountain Preserve tiene un sendero al norte y al sur que tiene hermosas vistas. A 20 minutos en auto está Eastsound, y al lado de la calle principal con muchos restaurantes y una tienda de comestibles. A partir de la primera semana de mayo, Eastsound también tiene un mercado de agricultores con alimentos, sidras y productos locales.

Peaceful stay
Beautiful property and cozy stay. Studio is attached to main house but separated by a garage/work space so felt very private. So nice to sit in the big bay window and look out into the trees.

2 night stay with dog
Quiet place; the listing matches the property. The owner has a friendly boxer dog that was there to meet us. We had a dog ourselves, owners dog is very playful/friendly. I may offer a suggestion of keeping up on the dog poop in the yard. There was a significant amount of dog poop in the yard, which may be expected for your own residence but not necessarily a rental where other dogs are expected to be present.

Quiet, wooded property
The feel of camping but with comfort of beds, windows, hot shower, kitchenette and screens! As close to camping as I care to get anymore! Owner lives on site with his boxer and loves dogs! Perfect for them to run loose. A few short miles from the ferry. Easy drive anywhere on the island. A very enjoyable stay

Adorable little ethical rental.
We loved this location and had an amazing time! We especially loved the hosts dog, a friendly boxer who is usually around to greet you during your comings and goings.

Peace in the woods
Property location was relaxing and quiet. It is a bit out of town but not far from the ferry terminal. Probably best to arrive before dark, as location might be tricky to find. The owner and his dog were inviting and friendly. FYI...there are some resident sugar ants.

Don’t do it- keep scrolling
First of all this place is so far out with no reception what so ever. Community (yes community) is completely closed in with a gate, of course parking is outside gate. The attached studio had such a strong moldy smell that my husband was in there for 3 minutes and started coughing and sneezing. I’m thinking they have had a major leak issue for some time. We didn’t even unpack and left the property ASAP. Thinking we will sleep in the car somewhere if we have to. Now maybe this is someone’s ideal vacation rental but it wasn’t ours. Completely creeped out from the first hello.

It was fine until the water pump failed. We still have not received a discount on our trip! There were no other accommodations in all of Orcas, dog friendly, except one for $510 and another for $1,180/ night. Therefore, we had to stay and bring in our own water to drink and wash. Not very happy with how we are being treated. Thank you Sallie & Paul

Amazing hideaway tucked into a woodland forest, and beautiful outdoor artist creations to boot. Cozy and comfortable. One little bit of an upgrade would be to offer a coffee maker and coffee pods as an amenity. Magical!!

Awesome!
The owner was so friendly and we loved his dog Mick! Would highly recommend. It is in a secluded part of the island and the only downfall is having to drive pretty far to get to the towns and hikes.

We had a great stay at the artist studio! The resident dog Mick was very sweet and the location was super safe, quiet and remote. Only downside was the lack of kitchen amenities. There wasn’t any oil or any staples other than salt or pepper. The knife that they had was really blunt and it was difficult to use. The bed is pretty uncomfortable and sags in the center when you lay in it. My husband and I both woke up with back pain after sleeping there! On the positive side, the window was left open all day before we checked in and there weren’t any bugs. There was a dehumidifier and a small fan that made the atmosphere a lot more comfortable for sleeping.

It was a beautiful little cabin joined to a house, in a beautiful wooded property with a clear/open central area carpeted with beautiful mosses. It is an artist haven in the woods! Amazing art installations are scattered through the central yard. It is in a corner of the island that is quite, secluded, but close to the ferry terminal. The cabin has a full kitchen, fridge, and a plethora of books to help pass time! Our dog loved the area. While it is located next to the owner’s home who has a sweet friendly dog, we enjoyed privacy and quiet. The ferry terminal is 10mins away and East sound 20 minutes away.

4th July weekend
Quiet and serene property away from everything. Lots of activities to do on the island. Enjoyed my stay very much. Woke up to a flat tire on the 4th. AAA assistance arrived within the hour and the nice guy pumped up the tire and then followed me to the auto shop to make sure I got there.

Beautiful, secluded property
We loved our stay. This already picturesque property was made more beautiful by the owner's artistic touch. His Boxer Mick was my favorite part of the trip. Parking was covered, WiFi was fast, and the rental was conveniently located mere minutes from the Ferry terminal for expedient travel around the islands.

It was good
Overall it was a good stay. We arrived but had no key info on listing so had to go back out In the car to service and call in to get the info. I also wasn’t aware the owner lived there and was connected to the unit, but that wasn’t really a problem. Just wasn’t quite as private as we thought it’d be. I do feel like the kitchen area in cabinets could have been a bit more clean and had a few more kitchen essentials. The place was clean otherwise. Had a good yard space for My son to play, a plus our dog was welcome and it was peaceful and quiet.

Most relaxing place in artistic surroundings
We arrived with ease late at night and found everything perfect as promised. Surrounded by nature and very quite and peaceful. Nice property to explore and find artistic treasures to explore and sun filled areas to read and relax. The location is close to ferry and nice back road lead to Eastsound. Lake in walking distance to swim. Very friendly Owner and very respectful of privacy. Recommend it highly - enjoy!
