Nothing like staying in a hotel, hot tub & fire pit were nice
We stayed here for 3 nights. Initially, we were ready to leave but everything ended up being okay. If you rent this place, you have to be of the mindset that you are going to be able to stay with a bunch of people for relatively cheap. The accommodations are okay but nothing like staying in a hotel.
Add about 10-15 years on what you see in photos. The property also wasn't cleaned well. Dishes put in cabinet wet. Trash under sofa, beds and other difficult to reach places. Dog kibble in sofa. Squished bug on wall in bedroom.
Examples of some shortcomings:
Back sliding glass door had no lock and they had added a chain lock but that was dangling, ripped out of the wall when we arrived. So there is a metal barricade type of lock.
No screened porch door
Bunk bed rail was loose
Daybed had a piece of cardboard instead of a foundation (slats set apart too far for platform bed)
Pillows stained yellow
One set of sheets missing
Sheets not matching, towels older and not matching
Problem with hot water that was resolved w/i 3 hours (hose left on).
Gross food in cabinet - no staples
Bathroom vanity lights on bedroom walls
No dressers, too few hangers
Mgmt co. was responsive but couldn't explain how to use outdoor projection tv.
No map of development for lake beaches, no list of restaurants, etc.
The property is in a secure development. That means you have to get car info to owner in advance or risk extra fees (maybe $100 a car?). No food delivery.
Hoping management fixes issues.
