Wow, what a nice getaway from the everyday hustle and bustle. My party and I spent the weekend at Hunter's Cabin (though we do not hunt) to enjoy a tranquil time to relax and reset. The owner was great on answering any questions that I had. The place was exactly as described and was stocked with all the everyday needs like towels, pillows, linens, soaps, trash bags, food containers and more. All the beds and pillows were perfect and there were more pillows than I even needed, but I was happy to get extra comfortable on. The aesthetics of the interior are rustic like the listing states, while you have a modern sick, oven and dishwasher that made our meals and clean up so much easier. The gas fire place was a nice touch to have less work to do to the place nice and cozy.
The cabin was extremely clean and all the instruction were well explained. We really enjoyed the long table in the back, even though our party only had 4 people this time around, it could have accommodated many more.
Step outside and the nature around you calms you to the core. When we first arrived, we got out my Jeep and just listened to the stream for a few brief moments. The cabin is located on a private back road. It is not paved but cars will have no issue driving on it since it has packed gravel along the way. The scenery alone is purely breathtaking.
I loved how everything in the cabin was designed and how it made us feel. We sat and ate breakfast while a family of deer passed through the woods.
