¡Esta acogedora propiedad es medio acre de libertad junto al lago! Dos chimeneas exteriores, contrastando los elementos de fuego y agua. Ir a pescar, kayak o simplemente descansar en sus pies descalzos en la hierba. Las oportunidades son infinitas.

Not as advertised
The cabin was not as advertised, very rustic. The cabin was in rough condition. For being a rental property it should have been cleaner, should have had updated fresh bedding, towels, etc. Everything inside was outdated. There is 1 air conditioner in the unit in a window in the bedroom, it was very loud and made it difficult to sleep. I wasn’t aware that the property had well water, so needed bottled water. The shower curtain hooks keep falling off and hitting us in the head. Part of the dock was starting to sink into the water, not as advertised . The trees were not trimmed anywhere on property, especially overgrown over the dock and over the driveway where car was parked and lots of spider webs everywhere. Again, for being a rental property this place needs much improvement.

Weekend Away from the City
Great location, cozy home with plenty in the area to see. Neighborhood VERY quiet. Lake beautiful. Very accommodating. Would love to do again.

Nice property but not much TLC
My first impression was disappointment, the trash cans and recycle were full, lots of food left in the frig, leak under the sink that stunk, outside was not cleaned, etc. But saying all that we still had a relaxing enjoyable time. The lake was nice, fishing off the dock, the fire pit was very enjoyable. Gino, the property owner was very nice and accommodated us for there not being wood there. We wouldn’t go back but it did end up being a very nice week.

Lakeshore Home again
Previously lived in the area and came back to visit grandchildren for Christmas. Property was excellent and met every need, even when the temp was minus 17 windchill we were warm and cozy. Will go back again.

Lakeside Relaxation!!
Pics do no justice of this property! This lakeside cottage has all the amenities. My husband and I celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary! We can't wait to return in the fall.

Home away from home
My husband and I loved our home away from home getaway. The place was very comfortable, clean, filled with everything you need and more. We loved our stay, it was very relaxing. The property manager was wonderful, very responsive and accommodating, thank you for everything!

Another Wonderful Stay!
This was our second straight year staying at this house. We enjoyed it even more this time. It's a great location right on a lake. You can go in the canoe or other boats. We made a fire and had s'mores. It's not too far from some good restaurants. Lots of hikes and other outdoor activities nearby.

Lakefront property
This place is so cute and quaint and a slice of heaven- i booked this place with the lake view in mind- it did not disappoint- the lake view is phenomenal- they offer canoes, a small boat for use, chairs for the dock, coffee maker, toaster etc- the check in process was super easy, and he even allowed for an earlier check-in. The only downside is the beds were small and uncomfortable. The neighborhood was so peaceful and quiet. I would definitely return.

sweet lake view
The house is very sweet - the property is directly on the water. there are kayaks and a row boat and a canoe. I took out the kayaks everyday. The lake is very small maybe a mile long. Twenty minutes away is Stroudsberg and it's a great town with a terrific saturday morning farmer's market. Some great cafes - and a few really nice restaurants. Try Momento.

Relaxing stay
My husband and I enjoyed our stay spending our time fishing on the dock, walking our dog around the neighborhood, and exploring the lake on the boat. The property had all the amenities we needed. We took some trips into town which was about a 20 minute drive. Very relaxing and much needed!

Beautiful!
Excellent location! Right on the lake as promised. The pictures don’t even do it justice. The house is cozy and outside is lovely. Lots of places outside to relax and enjoy the view and grill. Stores are just 15 minutes away and there’s a lot to do close by. I hope to visit again!

Peaceful getaway
We spent a week at this peaceful place. We needed a week to unwind, relax and enjoy nature. That is exactly what we got. Morning coffee sitting by the lake. Fishing off the dock and in the boat. Both my husband and my son caught some nice bass. We enjoyed our stay. The weather was beautiful which allowed us plenty of outdoor time. The property was clean and comfortable. The host was excellent to deal with and very accommodating.

Excellent Stay!
We really enjoyed it here. What's unique is the location on the lake and the ability to use canoes, fishing equipment, etc. There is a great dock where you can sit and look out over the lake. We rode the canoe over to the beach/playground area. There are numerous good restaurants 10-20 minutes away. All in all, a wonderful vacation home!

Such a great location and outdoor property! Lakeside firepit and the dock for morning coffee, evening drinks and fishing is amazing. Fantastic proximity to DE Water Gap for Appalachian Trail hiking and general outdoor fun! Canoe is nice for a trip around the lake. Hard to leave….

Short stay by the lake
Convenient location, nice landlord who wanted to make us happy. The cottage was not as clean as we would like - teapot and coffee maker full of grounds, windows dirty. Certain amenities that were on the listing online (like air conditioner) were not available when we arrived. I’d like to see a more accurate listing and a better maintained property.

Stunning Lake Front Getaway
The amenities and location of this property are incredible, quiet lake front with a large dock. Fire pits, seating areas, kayaks, boats and canoes. Lake Monroe is quiet and perfect for a weekend getaway. The home is just what you need, it could use a few upgrades, but we were never inside so it didn't matter. Owner is very responsive and super friendly. We will stay here again!
