Overall we enjoyed the house. There was plenty of room and the location was good. We were on a busy part of the lake, so depending on what you’re looking for, this could be good or bothersome. We did have a few issues:
-no boat lift even though we called Vacasa and they verbally confirmed there was a boat lift for guest use
-dirty cooking utensils (this was not a matter of sanitation, there was old, dried food stuck to the utensils but there’s a disclaimer over the kitchen sink that dishes are not “sanitized”
-the towel rack in master king bedroom was falling off, not huge issue but could easily break
-the lights for the master bedroom king bed do not work
-the nightlight lightbulb was out on the first floor bathroom
-the kitchen oven overhead lights were out and the kitchen was very dark, the space was still nice to gather, but for the quality and price of this luxury house, we expected these minor amenities to be available.
We communicated all this through VRBO app and via email and no responses, so that was a little disappointing. I did see later that there was a name and number listed in pamphlet, not sure why we wouldn’t get a response through VRBO?
Despite that stuff, we enjoyed ourselves. Not things that would ruin a trip by any means…again, only calling them out because this is a luxury type home and we expected these little details to be better. Thanks!
