Nice place
My husband and I stayed for two nights to get away from the hustle and bustle of life. It is a nicely built cottage with lots of amenities. It was clean, but in need of a deep clean. We would go again! Thank you for having us!

Nice property. Not lakefront
Property is nice on the inside. Location is not favourable as it is not lakefront and doesn’t have many opportunities for lakefront activities nearby. Otherwise it is fun if you enjoy sauna and hot tubs and bbqs.

Weekend Retreat
Beautiful well-maintained house with lots of amenities. My sister and I enjoyed making ourselves lattes in the morning using the coffee station and relaxing on the deck. Lots of space for a bigger group and very close to Haliburton.

Absolutely gorgeous and fun
The cottage itself was both cozy and luxurious. The host definitely thought of all the details and we felt welcomed. I only wished the description mentioned the outdoor surveillance cameras, but they weren't a deal breaker and I would probably want them there, too, if I were the host. The beach and huge playground in town were just a short drive and made the kids' week. We made some great memories here. Thank you!!

Thanksgiving at the Blue Cottage
We had a lovely stay, beautiful and clean cottage with lots of space. We enjoyed the onsite hot tub and sauna as well as lots of fall walks on nearby cottage roads.

Peaceful and perfect Lakehouse
If you are in the Haliburton area, this house should be at the top of your list of places to stay. It is spotless and well-appointed, tucked away on a quiet road. We had a restful and comfortable stay :)

Just wonderful
This property is amazing, everything seemed to have been considered to make life comfortable. Facilities were great and as described. Beautiful kitchen great open spaces. Cleanliness was second to none. Practical aspects of life including facilities for washing clothes were to a very high standard. Fitted our family comfortably, kids also had a great time. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

We had an amazing stay at The Blue Lakehouse. The property is perfect for a family, and the surroundings beautiful. Lini was an incredible host. Accommodating, responsive and respectful. This spot is highly recommended for a weekend away.

Blue Lake House Haliburton
The Blue Lake House is a hidden gem in Haliburton. We had a great time as a family visiting and will definitely be going back in the future. The owner was easy to contact and was quick to answer any questions we had.

Lovely stay at this beautiful property
We had a great time at this property. It is well maintained, clean, and very comfortable. We were very impressed with how well stocked it was - little things like having coffee pods and olive oil available make planning so much easier. The hot tub was a major plus. Cottages likes these are hard to find and we’re definitely happy to have stayed here. It is clean, spacious, and has everything you need for the enjoyment of the whole family. The area is really nice as well and was only 2 hours away from Toronto.

We loved the Blue Lakehouse!
The property was beautiful and exactly as depicted in the photos. We enjoyed the hot tub and sauna and the close by snow shoe trails. The cottage is very baby and dog friendly. Our host even provided a pack and play for our little one so we didn't have to bring one with us. She was also very responsive when we had any questions about the property. We look forward to returning to the Blue Lakehouse and hope to make it an annual trip. Highly recommend!

Wonderful place to stay!
This home was exactly as pictured, very clean, bright and was ready for our arrival. The amenities were all as pictured and made our stay very enjoyable. Grocery store was only a short drive which made the stay convenient. The location was peaceful, which is exactly what we needed. Great for couple or a family getaway. Did not want to leave! Would highly recommend - will be back.

Christmas at the Blue Lake House
We spent a magical family Christmas at the Blue Lake House. The chalet is even more beautiful than the photos and comfortably accommodated our family of 5 plus grandparents. The cottage was decorated for Christmas, making our stay even more special. LiNi is very responsive and answered our questions very quickly. The Haliburton area is perfect for a winter getaway with excellent cross country skiing nearby. We also enjoyed the sauna and hot tub. We will remember our Christmas at LiNi’s cottage always.

My wife and I decided to stay at this beautiful blue lake house to celebrate her birthday with our 2 children and our dog in November. We fell in love with this lake house. As soon as you arrive you can tell that the host put their heart and soul into this place and paid attention to every single detail. The place was spotless and the hosts really thought ahead and anticipated and provided anything you may need and more. We really enjoyed the hot tub and the sauna during the cold weather and watching the snow fall through those huge windows was magical. The host was extremely attentive and responded immediately to any questions we had. We are already planning a trip to return in the summer to be able to utilize the lake. We have stayed at many short term rentals over the years and this place has been the best so far without question. Thank you the great stay and we can’t wait to go back!

Wonderful Cottage
The cottage was beautiful. The dwelling was spacious and well decorated. It felt like you were at home. We spent most of our time at the shared dock. It was accessible via water trail down the road. We ended up driving down to get the kayak and paddleboards to the dock. We had a wonderful time and look forward to staying again.

Awesome Place!!!
I stayed here with a group of friends and we really enjoyed our stay. The cottage is beautifully decorated and it had everything we needed and more. We had fun with the kayak and the SUPs on the lake, enjoyed eating out on the deck and hanging around the fire pit. It was very spacious and the host is very friendly and quick to respond to any questions we had. I would go back to this property and definitely recommend it to others! Great, well kept, gorgeous property, a short drive from Halliburton where there’s a beach. There is also an access to lake through a short trail but we preferred the beach for the kids. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The hosts were extremely responsive and thought of every little detail from mosquito spray to life jackets. The mattress and everything provided in the cottage was of top notch quality. Highly recommend.
