Cabaña de madera en el río de la Florida, a 15 minutos de Durango

Una cabina única en el río con vistas a la montaña, y está idealmente ubicado entre Durango (8 millas) y tanto el Vallecito y limón Embalses (4 y 10 millas, respectivamente). Ya sea sentado en la terraza sólo pies desde el río o en la cabina, disfrutar de los sonidos increíblemente relajante del río y las serenas vistas de las montañas y pinos.

Esta cabina combina el espíritu de la construcción rústica con las últimas actualizaciones. Una cocina completamente equipada y zonas de estar bien amuebladas hará que sus días cómoda. Una estufa de leña en la sala de estar es ideal para quitar el frío de una noche fresca. Las acomodaciones para dormir incluyen una cama king size en la habitación de la cabaña, así como cuartos separados para huéspedes con dos camas individuales y un medio baño. Un sofá cama en la sala de estar de la cabina ofrece una flexibilidad adicional para dormir. Una lavadora y secadora brindan la oportunidad de hacer una carga rápida de ropa si es necesario.

Quiet Little Cabin
We took a vacation with my grandparents. We all enjoyed the cabin overall. The best part is the river and peacefulness of the whole place! Cabin was very cozy, hot water, and stocked well!! We had a glorious week with family!

Beautiful location
We had a very cozy stay at this cabin. The location is stunning - being able to sit out by the river was fantastic. The house inside was very comfortable overall, with most of the amenities you would expect and games to play as a family. It has a few quirks but nothing that impacted our overall experience there. We had the space we need and were able to prepare meals comfortably. We would come again!

Nice family getaway
Overall it was a nice vacation and the property was nice and clean. It wasn't obvious from the listing that the two twin beds are in a separate structure which was not ideal, but we made it work.

Wet and Wild
Overall, the place was exactly how it was described. Unfortunately, it rained most of the time we were there, so we could not benefit from the outdoor amenities that are so close to the river. Everything was always soaking wet. We only experienced a few hiccups. First, the place probably should be sprayed for bug control. We had quite a few insects in both the main home and the secondary bedroom building. We also had an issue with the microwave after heating something up in it. The lock on the microwave door would not disengage until we unplugged the unit from the outlet. We never experienced this again. It was just one time. Whoever stayed in the unit previously, did not take care of putting away the cookie sheets, etc. in the stove drawer, so we had a rough time getting them out for use. We were eventually able to get them down low enough so that the drawer can open. Again, very minor things. Overall, we enjoyed the stay and loved the location.

Cozy Log Cabin
Our family wanted a get away from the city, found various cabins opportunities but found this one and the pictures did not mislead. Out in the woods where its quiet but not too far that you felt lost. Amenities as listed and very clean property. My family definitely relaxed and enjoyed the time there and would recommend to family and friends.

We had an amazing time at this cabin! We absolutely loved the location and hearing the river at night. It is close enough to the city yet far enough away. Everything was what we expected and what we wanted for our family vacation!!

Another wonderful stay.
I believe this was our 6th or 7th stay at this beautiful little cabin. Everything about it works for our family. The location is beautiful and quiet, our girls love to have their own space out in the outer bedroom. The owners are terrific communicators and the check in process goes smoothly. It is a place for our family to be able to relax, enjoy the outdoors and just enjoy being together. We look forward to another summer visit.

Short stay, worth it!
Having the flow of the Florida River as your background noise was incredible! We came here to relax and recharge for a few short days, and it was well worth it! We can’t wait to come back, with our kids next time! Very clean cabin, loved all the options for outdoor sitting also!

We really enjoyed the privacy that we had, we also enjoyed relaxing by the river in the evenings. The house is very well equipped for everything we needed. Amazing Stay
We were more than happy with our stay at this cabin! We loved relaxing on the back deck overlooking the river. The drive to Durango is a scenic 20 minute drive. The owners provided very helpful and detailed information for the cabin and the area. I would definitely recommend staying here!

Heaven on Earth So Peaceful
Overall it was a wonderful place to stay. Everything was just as Kaleb and Kelley advertised. Such a relaxing vacation, the peacefulness of the Florida River, its sounds and the sounds of all the bird's were wonderful. Weather you were in the main cabin or the guest cabin you could enjoy all the wonderful sounds and sights. Our only complaint was that the yard was so grown up and we wasn't able to enjoy the use of the yard area. I do highly applaud Kaleb and Kelley for trying to get their landscape people out there to take care of the yard work. It was Memorial Day weekend so no one would come. Any problems we had Kaleb and Kelley were quick to try to get it taken care of and were quick to reply to any problems or questions that we had. People need to know Kaleb and Kelley do live in Texas, and just let people share their wonderful home on the bubbling Florida River. So besides enjoying their home, take care of it. Thanks for sharing your home in Heaven with us

Relaxing Location!
The pictures don't do justice to actually being on the Florida River, either looking out the living room window or walking out the back door and being only 20 feet from the River. A great relaxing stay in this log cabin.

Perfect Location
This was my second time staying at this cabin with the river behind it and it is perfect. It’s close enough to Durango to make going to town easy but it’s also nice and quiet. Great location with great views. I rode in the Iron Horse race and I plan on making it a tradition. I hope I get to book this place every year.

Christmas vacation
We titled our vacation the best Christmas ever. And it couldn’t have been possible without this cabin and these hosts. The view was amazing, the location was perfect for a getaway and the cabin was super cozy and perfect for our family. The hosts were super helpful and willing to answer any questions I had. Their directions for check in and out were very clear. And they had awesome suggestions.

What a heavenly corner of serenity! We thoroughly enjoyed sitting out and watching the river run. Neighborhood was very quiet. I suspect part of the reason was that there were very few people around. Highly recommend this cabin.

We loved our stay at the sweet cozy red cabin. Close enough to Durango but far enough to enjoy the beautiful area. Fabulous location on the river. The cabin was rustic but very well appointed and Kaleb was so helpful!

Perfect retreat
My husband and I stayed at the Cozy Cabin for a wonderful long weekend. I cannot express enough of a sentiment in how amazing this cabin is. While we went out for scenic drive and explored Durango and Telluride majority of our stay was enjoyed at the cabin. I already miss the sound of the River while I sat outside under a blanket and read or just enjoyed the quiet and peaceful view of the changing leaves. I cannot wait to come back and stay at the cozy cabin again and am already looking at future dates to book another quiet retreat!

Peace on the Florida River
This is a great cabin with everything needed for a wonderful and relaxing stay. The sounds of the river just off the deck lulled us to sleep each night of our 4-day stay.
