“We were there for a wedding at Wake Chapel and this was the perfect place to set up camp. We had some issues with the air conditioner on our first day. The house cleaner was there right up to check in- and seemingly cleaning in above 80° temperatures! They did not (or could not) set the temperature down - we’re not sure what happened… Either way our first evening there it didn’t get below 80 degrees until 10pm. “Only a 10 minute drive to my grandson, this home is nicely furnished and comfortable. We stayed here with my 87 yo Dad who was able to get around safely and loved sitting on back patio in morning drinking his coffee. “My husband and I stayed here with our 2 dogs for 5 days. The location is great and far enough away from the city that you can enjoy the stars at night, but close enough to drive into Raleigh for any event! The house had a fully stocked kitchen for cooking and was very clean. We will stay here again for our next Raleigh trip!”

“"Queen Size Bed" was an extremely firm mattress on a wooden slab supported by concrete blocks. Though it was very cool when we arrived, the heat was not on and owner not there to show us how to operate the remotes, No handrails on 3 steps up to entrance. Very precarious! No blinds on front windows!!”
