“We had a wonderful time at this beautiful home. The deck with the fire pit and hot tub and dining table were fabulous to hang out outside amongst the redwoods. The house was clean, nicely decorated and included a well stocked kitchen which is always so helpful. We would highly recommend this home for rental and hope to return ourselves in the years ahead.”

“The place was very relaxing. Hot tub was beautifully located under the redwoods near the creek. Linens were exceptionally scented with hormonal disruptive scented laundry detergent. Bring your own wood for the fireplace, as none is provided. BBQ grill is broken and won’t ignite. Otherwise, the place is very comfortable with a well appointed kitchen and very spacious outdoor area.”

“Couldn’t check in at 4:00 because we didn’t have the code to open the door. Tried several times to get in touch with the host by text and phone. Finally called the restaurant and got the code. So took over an hour to get in. Also there was pee in the toilet! Otherwise it was clean.”

The cabin is simple but has everything you need, including a comfortable bed and well appointed kitchen. The wood fireplace makes it so cozy. Great place to curl up and read a book. Lots of thoughtful extras were made available - ear plugs, cotton swabs, toothbrushes etc. My friends and I all agreed that the mattresses were so comfortable! Made full use of the hot tub. Great and peaceful location for exploring the river and the coast!”

“This lodge will take you back in time in the most welcoming way. We loved the warm wood, fireplace, artwork, old record player, hot tub, many seating areas and the surrounding neighborhood. This is a charming retreat, in a charming area that beckons a stroll in the neighborhood. The check-in process was easy, the host was responsive, the place is clean inside and out. Our whole family absolutely loved this place and we hope to be back again. It's located close enough you could walk to the river...

“Property was beautiful. We totally enjoyed our stay. We actually extended it a night because we were so pleased with the place. The only down side is the one bathroom with access only thru the master suite (which wasn't and issue for us but would be if there were 2 adult couples).”

“The cottage is adorable, but there needs to be more accountability on the website regarding the stairs. Megan told me there were about 30, but in reality, there were 51. I'm sure that young people have no problem with this, but older people like to get away also, and the description of the stairs should be on the website.”

“The property was clean, wifi reliable, and well supplied. I would note that the driveway past the gate is note an easy drive for low cars which do not have AWD/4WD but there is room in front of the gate for 1-2 vehicles. ”
