“Lovely cabin in the woods, came with all the little extras you often don't think to pack (e.g. towels, condiments, cleaning products, books, DVDs, toys, baby equipment etc). Can't help but relax here, especially on the veranda in the evening, which has a patio heater if needed. No wifi & 6km from town meant my kids aged 15, 13 & 4, took to exploring the woods, finding frogs, playing games, watching DVDs with family while 'home'. “I can not review this property fairly. I can review the Host which were awesome. There was an issue with the original property. Jody and John were able to make alternative accommodations for us. We were very pleased. It was in the same location, which you definitely need a vehicle for. We were able to visit many areas from here with ease. Communication was excellent, would rent again. ”

“We loved the ruralness of the property but also the close proxmity to Roosky for shops and local bars. The property itself was very clean and well presented with everything provided that we could possibly need or want.We felt conpletely at home. The cottage was very homely. We loved our cow neighbours too! We would definately book this cottage again if we were n the area. ”

“The gate house we were put in is nothing like the main house rooms which are advertised. It was freezing cold, run down, beds worn out, mold in showers, 1 shower leaked all over the floor, no included breakfast, narrow spiral staircase to upstairs bedrooms. Definitely not a 4 star property. Very disappointed. ”

“Nice place with a lovely view but takes too long to get to a main road 20minuets on small bumpy country roads in a larger than normal car was not a great experience there where lots to see and do close by Carrick on Shannon was not far away neither was Lough Key which has lots to do for the whole family but mostly only during the holiday season.”

“The staff on receptiin were so helpful , breakfast was amazing . Room was lovely and warm but needed decorating as the walls were a bit dirty and the head rest was ripped a bit . Lovely clean carpets though . My only issue was the lack of soundproofing . We were in room 7 and were kept awake till 4am due to the noisy people in room above as we could hear the slightest bang that they made.”
