It is a great location for a weekend day. It has everything you can possibly need.. we will definitely stay there again. I recommend it to everyone. easy chicken easy check out hassle free.

Pictures are deceiving, guys. This place is gross. Cement floors are filthy. Bathroom sink and shower are stained and dirty. No hot water, just lukewarm. Futon bed doesn’t flatten out. Loft sits right beside exposed plumbing. I told rental place we would be arriving late & asked which unit it would be. They responded that it was just the address, no number. There are indeed numbered cabins, so fumbling our way in dark of night to try and figure out what to do. Only good thing is that they email you back immediately and answer the phone, but don’t seem to know a thing about the place. I sent them pictures and told them the condition of the property, but it was like Groundhog Day…same response with no resolution over and over. We left a day early & drove through the night to get home instead of staying another night.

Lovely Stay
We had a great visit over the 4th of July weekend exploring Sister Lakes. The location of this cute place was a perfect fit for our family with everything needed, made more enjoyable with beautiful weather. It was our first trip to this area and the convenience of the location and helpfulness of the host will entice us to return.

We stayed in cabin 1, the loft was a bit too dicey for us to even use. The outdoor furniture had many cracks and were not comfortable. The swimming area was very disappointing as there was no place to let our grandson play in the water. We have loved this area for years but not being able to swim was a big disappointment.

Marriage getaway
This was the perfect spot to get away. My wife and I spend a weekend every year at a little cabin where we review our marriage and refocus. We always like to explore the area and Dowagiac was a gem of an area to go. Sage was our contact and he checked on us multiple times. We had one issue with our bed and he was not only prompt but he made sure to make it right. I would highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a quiet getaway.

Very cozy and romantic getaway! Beautiful little cabin within walking distance of a great local bar/restaurant (Dan’s Dockside Bar/Grill) and two local breweries. (The Strand and Sister Lakes) Every thing we needed for a great and comfortable weekend.

Great location and clean
Check in was easy and the cabin was nice. It had the necessities for cooking and relaxing. It could us some blinds over the door window. The location was great for kayaking and sight seeing. A few restaurants are within walking distance and Lake Michigan is a short drive. We would stay here again but I’m not sure where I’d park our boat if we brought it.
