Our family of six enjoyed this dreamy, spacious condo to the fullest. Seamless check-in with better than expected water views. Played evening board games at the kitchen table and laughed louder than we should. Loved the modern kitchen with every supply and gadget. Tried and loved kayaking around the back of the condo. Garage games of darts and ping pong were favorites. Visited several nearby beaches and loved Oval and Saugatuck Dunes the most. Highly recommend nearby Root beer Barrel for floats and fancy hotdogs. Saugatuck is a quick drive with endless restaurants, shops, and charm (no problem parking for us). Host made sure to take care of every detail and we were grateful for the lake vacation. Hope to visit again soon!

We Loved Our Stay Here!!

I loved this house so much! From the moment you walk into the family room/kitchen, the view takes your breath away. The balcony was perfection and I loved listening to the reeds sway. My favorite place to read and have a glass of wine. Everything was clean and well-stocked! The beds were very comfortable and lots of space to hang clothing. My teenagers loved the extra downstairs space and called it their apartment complete with a balcony and hot tub! Haha! The garage had everything you need for fun-beach chairs, ping pong table, beach toys, kayaks (which we thoroughly enjoyed), life jackets, 2 bikes and helmets…this place is a true gem and I definitely see myself coming back! Thank you for the wonderful accommodations!!

Disappointing Stay

VRBO customer service suggested I write this review. Our 4 night stay was going well until the power went out on a high 90 degree day. The power affected the air conditioning in the condo, water, appliances, lights. I was facing an afternoon of rising temperatures in the condo (high 90s or more) with no relief by opening windows. After 3 hours of rising temperatures in the late afternoon, I made a decision for my family that we needed to drive back to Chicago. I made the decision after speaking w neighbors, ppl in town and local police. No one knew when power was going to be restored. I also found out that this area has frequent power outages. The power outage also affected local internet. None of our phones had service.The owner did not call, had my phone number. Nor did anyone show up at the condo to give us guidance. Only after we left to drive home were we able to contact host via the vrbo platform and let him know we had to leave. Only then did I see a message from the host on the vrbo platform.I asked host for a credit for the one night stay before going to VRBO customer service. He said no. VRBO said my request was definitely justified and tried to get host to refund one nights stay. He refused to respond to them at first and then finally said he wouldn’t do it. I am making people aware that this host does not care about customers in this type of situation. I now have to go to my credit card company to handle. Be aware of this.

Douglas visit

Beautiful, new property which had plenty of room for entire family (total of 5 individuals) so everyone was able to have their own room. The property was quiet, very clean, and nicely decorated. Great location very close to downtown Saugatuck. It's the little thoughts that made the stay great such as all new kitchenware, games (loved the ping pong), and stuff to take to the beach. Great visit!
