“Very exciting staying in a real old chateau, but with the facilities of a very thoughtful full restoration with modern comforts such as a/c, floor heating and huge and beautiful private bathrooms. The site is also very pretty, a large estate well landscaped. Last but not least, Jennifer was a great hostess.”

“We are two families 4 adults and 4 children (age 6-10) and have recently stayed for 1 week at Chateau Madame. Our first view of the chateau was from its imposing position on the hillside which could be seen from several kilometres away basking in the evening sun as we approached. There is a 400m meandering drive up the hillside toward Chateau Madame that provides a secluded and safe setting. “We were with 8 adults and had a lovely stay in the Perigord region with quiet surroundings. Just the sound of a lot of birds keeps you awake during the day. The castle is very well equipped and decorated and not to big, neither to small. It fits the number of guests very good. You can visit several nice little towns(one or two stars Michelin!) but make cycle or walking tours as well. In short: lovely castle and park, everything you need is there.”
