“A lovely country venue. Nice and private yet contact with the hosts gave immediate result. Thought the weather was very wet it was easy to get the cabin up to temperature. All appliances in de caben were modern en well kept. Lovely hosts. Very open to questions and suggestions. Local pub great for food and in walking distance. Activities as walking, golf, cycling galore. Big shops within 20 min drive. I definitely plan to come back”

“Por dónde empezar ? Todo fue fantástico. Nuestra habitación estaba en el tercer piso y aunque no hay elevador Joseph nos ayudó a subir nuestro equipaje, demasiado atento y amable. El piso estaba hermoso todo en perfecto estado y demasiado limpio. Te dejan una carpeta con recomendaciones de todas las cosas como transporte, restaurantes, etc. honestamente todo fue perfecto! ”

“The pods themselves are great. Very spacious and the bed was incredibly comfortable. Did encounter an issue with the heating upon arrival. POD was so hot inside the surfaces were too hot to touch. Never had this happen before. Calls to office and emergency line were not answered. Had to drive around looking for someone and a nice staff, Kirsten, at the event facility helped me. Finally had to disconnect heating completely from pod. Unfortunately had to stay in the pod all night with the doors...

“Holmlea cottage is the perfect Base to visit the Edinburgh area and the highland region arround perth. The cottage was very clean and we loved the antiques inside. Freuchie is a perfect Base to visit the region, to visit Edinburgh by train also, next rail station is very close. Hosts are so kind and communication was easy and quick, we can write only best and positive feed back. Thanks for that great vacation time.”

“Absolutely filthy flat. It's clean the doors, walls, handles, light switches, etc had never been cleaned. We had t go to Co-Op to get sanitizing wipes and spent the first hour cleaning the place. To top it off there was a tip jar in the kitchen for the cleaning staff? As full time travelers homes that was a first. Tacky. The listing also listed a dryer, which was an absolute requirement for us, and the flat did not have one. Falsely advertising the lodging is a crime ”

“Ideal location with charming village area nearby. Easy walk to local pub and to the water. Flat was spacious and well equipped; but could have used a bit more maintenance and some air freshener (near the sea, so a bit of a damp, musty smell). It was a bit farther from central Edinburg (~40 min) than I had expected; but the quaint village feel of the area was well worth the few extra minutes drive. All in all a nice place to support local sight seeing and day trips.”

Im Vorfeld gab es schon Probleme mit der Überweisung und nur dadurch haben wir eine Kontakttelefonnummer des Zwischenvermieters Hoseasons erhalten. Die Möglichkeiten zu Kommunikation mit Hoseasons sind sehr eingeschränkt und definitiv ausbaufähig. Zum Haus: Laut Beschreibung liegt das Haus im Wald und ist umgeben von vielen Tieren. Das stimmt. “Place was as described to accommodate our large group. It was about 20 minutes from the airport and 45 minutes into Edinburgh. Lots of eating places locally and shops to eat in. Had all the linens and soaps we needed. Could use some towel racks in the bathrooms and mirrors in the bedrooms. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend place to others looking to explore the area.”
