“A typical mid range seaside hotel. Like the curates egg, good in part. Trying to be objective but honest, so staff were nice, breakfast and dinner good and lovely sea views. On the other hand reception was a bit like a small guest house but it worked. Our room/suite was potentially a very nice room spoilt by a miniscule bathroom about 1.5m square and virtually impossible to get two people in there at once! And the other crazy thing which apparently has been mentioned before? The TV is on the...

“Lovely location, and very welcoming staff. Room was clean and comfortable - only issue is that the walls are rather thin, so a noisy neighbour next door or on the floor above can make for an uncomfortable night if you’re a light sleeper. ”

“Fue un poco diferente a lo esperado, la habitación era minuscula, desde ventana solo veiamos el tejado del bar y teniamos la salida de humos delante. Habia arañas por todas partes, la cama se inclinava hacia el cabezero. Tuvimos que dormir en los pies. De los pies de la cama a la paret habia 10 cm. Con mucha humedad. Es un lugar para nada recomendable. El almuerzo era acceptable. ”

“David and Lorna were lovely. Nice warm welcome and explained what was on offer and asked if there was anything that we needed. They were off on a short family break leaving the In Laws to cover Breakfast etc. Incl checking out and settling the bill 'if this had not already been done with David or Lorna before they had left'. Slight Communication breakdown we felt but overall had a fab stay. Reccommeded by us.”

“We were welcomed by zoe on reception who was friendly and engaging. Quicky given our room key and went to our room. The decor is a little dated but the room was spacious and warm. The bed was huge and comfy so what more could you ask for. We had breakfast which was buffet style and eat as much as you wanted. The best thing about this hotel has to be the view over Chesil beach which is amazing. We would have no hesitation staying again. ”
