“Alison was such a kind and generous host. The cottage was a perfect country break that was peaceful and homely. The cottage had everything we needed and was a good base to explore cradle mountain from. We picnicked in the yard overlooking mountain ranges, and my girls loved exploring the area and finding all sorts of animals. Would happily recommend Buttons Cottage for a quiet stay to help life slow down and connect with family.”

“We were 6 friends gathering for some road cycling in the area. The location was perfect for our needs and the house easily accommodated us with adequate facilities for preparing meals and socialising after our rides. The house was clean and well equipped and close to Ulverstone or Devonport if you wanted to eat out.”

“What a lovely old house we had such a lovely relaxing chilled weekend. So lovely and clean cosy and warm and comfy beds. Only 20 mins. from Launceston and the town of Exeter only Minutes away from the house for supplies. Lovely and quiet. There were only 3 of us but plenty of room for at least 8 adults. “My husband and I booked the Penguin beach house as a place for us and our 3 year old daughter to rest after the excitement of crossing on the boat. It was a wonderful place to stay. The heater had been left on for us so when we arrived on a frosty June morning, the house was warm and inviting. The house had a friendly fee and contained everything you could want. The shower was amazing!!”
