“This pub is a really well looked after and the rooms are super comfortable... lovely bed, large rooms... The breakfast is top quality and a great comfortable experience... The only things to note are, it is not as close to Henley as I thought, it was about 4-5 miles away and there is NO mobile reception in the pub or the rooms... if you need to make or receive any calls, you have to walk around the car park or the village for a reception...! Apart from that, I would definately go back and stay,...

“A grand building set off a main road in a quiet village. Good parking in the front with additional parking in the rear if required. Very clean and well decorated in the reception area as well as the bar and lounge. I was warmly greeted and shown to my room. A very tasteful set up with a stylish bathroom. My room gave me a view of the front. The king sized bed allowed for a good night's sleep. There are plenty of dining options just a few miles around with Reading and Basingstoke in close...

“Friendly staff that couldn’t do enough to accommodate. I stayed while working nightshifts and they would organise to service the room outside of normal hours always checking if I needed towels tea coffee etc. I have stayed multiple times and will definitely stay again ”

“When booking my sister in law asked specifically that our three rooms should have river views. On arrival we found my husband and I had been given the disabled room, with no view at all. Somewhat disappointing as this was our annual family reunion and we had booked at least five months in advance. Also the basin in the bathroom was very small and low and there was no shelving to put wash bags anywhere.”

“I have stayed here before but always had a room overlooking the car park. This time I was on the other side and unfortunately the constant road noise did not make for a good nights sleep. The telly was also not working in the room but by the time I noticed I was already ready for bed so left it until the morning to let staff know.”
