“This was our 3rd stay at the Melody house and it’s always the best little getaway! Everything about the home is perfect, and the town of st. Francisville is precious! We are planning a trip booking both homes soon with more family coming and we absolutely can’t wait! Pam is so kind and responsive! We absolutely rate the Melody house 10/10! ”

“This would have been a great stay but the management did not say that there was a lot of construction being done on the hotel. My wife and I walked to our room to find a bunch of workers in most of the rooms. This was very unsettling because they were in every room but ours and it was a mess. Once we entered our room it didn’t get any better, it was not clean at all and the shower did not drain. The microwave was there but not close to a plug. “Incredibly noisy to the point where I slept on the couch. The 2nd bedroom window provides zero protection from the sound of the HVAC systems directly below it. The noise fluctuates in pitch and loudness making it impossible to sleep. It sounds like a truck is idling right inside your bedroom all night! The apartment is lacking maintenance in some areas such as the bathroom. Otherwise, it's nicely furnished and practical.”

“3 couples enjoyed this lovely home to have a relaxing birthday weekend. The hime was just as pictured. This is my second time staying here and it won’t be my last. We especially appreciated the attention to detail and the screened in porch! ”

“The house was so cute and perfect for our stay. It was very clean and the beds comfortable. The neighborhood was in a convenient location and we were able to walk to the start/finish line of the race. Would recommend backing into the parking spot, so you can see the cars coming around the corner. It was easy to communicate with Glenda and Timothy, they were so responsive. If we find ourselves back in Baton Rouge, we would definitely stay here again! ”

“The house size was great- we enjoyed the location. House has a few issues that if fixed would make the space awesome. We had 10 people staying here with plenty of room for everyone. House has a few issues like leaking shower and wonky kitchen floor that were a tiny bit concerning. Host was very nice. House could use a few more things for guests to use such as kitchen pots and pans. Overall we enjoyed our stay.”

“As a tradition my wife and I come down from Colorado at the end of each year to do our Christmas time with the grand daughters and celebrate the new year in Baton Rouge staying at a convenient place within walking distance from the Mississippi River and the new years eve fireworks. This place filled the bill perfectly.”

“Loved this property so much. The home is beautiful and we had everything we needed. The assortment of books was a plus, and my mom read two books during our stay. The bathroom was lovely, especially the bathtub in the master. The only thing I will say as a con is the pillows. They were very large and thick, so we wish we would've brought our own. All to say - we will certainly stay here again if we are ever in need of a place in Baton Rouge. ”
