“The train car was so much fun!! We stayed with five women as a girls trip for the weekend and it was perfect! The property was beautiful. “The pictures really don't do this place justice. The views are breathtaking! The cabin is cute and quaint. The furniture was very comfy and we loved the porch area too. The bed was very firm but we managed. This place really is well stocked and had pretty much everything. We came in for the AAYS World Series for girls softball. It was worth every bit of the drive into Gardendale to play ball. Didn't hurt that our team brought home the Championship for 18u division. If we are in the area again,...

“Boy, we hit this one out of the park. Seven adults (26+) celebrated a milestone birthday at a beautiful property on the most quiet piece of land. The views are exceptional, the kitchen has everything you’ll ever need and then some, the beds are comfortable, the house is quiet, and you could eat off the floors it’s so clean. “Host always communicates well and leaves everything we need for a longer stay. Great location to town while we visit family. Host took a lot of feedback from our first stay a year ago, and we could tell they had made a lot of improvements on the property. We will stay again. ”

“This was the perfect place to feel rustic minus the modern white brick and granite countertops. The wood plank vaulted ceilings combined with the super large windows overlooking the wooded area leading to the lake was priceless. Definitely rate a 10:10!!”

“This place was perfect.. My dad’s birthday is Aug 19 and loves fishing, we rented this as a little bday getaway for him. Not going to lie the steps to the lake were a pain but not complaining we had access to lake and the awesome lake toys were a plus especially since we didn’t have to bring our own.”
