“The Gate House served as a perfect place for our daughter and her bridal party to get ready for her wedding. There was plenty of room for the six bridesmaids to work with the hair stylists, makeup artist and photographer. The Groom and his crew had fun in the basement game area until the photographer was ready for pictures down by the pond. The kitchen was very well equipped and easy to create breakfast for a large crew. ”

“Everything was wonderful. The cabin was very clean and had a well stocked kitchen. The night temps got down into the 30’s but the cabin’s heater worked well and we were very comfortable. A beautiful location. ”

“I honestly was looking so forward to getting away. She makes it sound so amazing in the overview. While the cabin is pretty much as pictured, the pond and property are not. There is goose poop everywhere the grass is overgrown. I should have known when i got an email the day of telling me now i have to bring my own propane tank.i asked her if it was completely secluded quickly after booking. “My wife and I very much enjoyed this property. It’s a beautifully rustic cabin that’s literally 20 feet above the ground in the trees. It’s set back in the woods but not far from the road and the town of Belfast. The place is well-built and very clean. You will need to bring outdoor chairs, your own towels and warm clothing if it’s in the cooler months. It was a great experience. ”

“This was our second stay at this AWESOME LITTLE CABIN. It is an absolute gem. Charmingly decorated, cozy, and very private. The addition of a full-sized refrigerator was a real bonus too especially since we like to prepare most of our own meals. Would highly recommend to anyone who wants some quiet time away!”

“Clean and appeared new. House was well stocked with everything we needed. Nice open floor plan. Enjoyed the lake view. House was as advertised. Weather a bit cool to enjoy the wrap around porch but house provided nice windows to enjoy the view from inside.”

“The Lake House was spacious and equipped with everything we needed for a large family gathering. The host gave clear directions to find the property and where to park (4 spots available). Ideas for restaurants were provided. We spent time in Letchworth State Park (breath-taking), at wineries and antique shops nearby. It was a great autumn weekend in New York!”

“The house was exactly what we were looking for for our trip to Letchworth.No problems with the reservations or any other issues.Place was clean,big enough and definitely felt like we were in a safe area.Would definitely recommend or stay here again ”

“I was by myself and wanted a quiet place and this place was absolutely perfect.”

“Nice quiet stay, great house in nice area. Close to the lake!”

“We enjoyed our stay in many ways. The quiet setting with nature was relaxing. The camp site downstream allowed us to hike back to their falls. That was more accommodating for a couple in their 70's than adventuring down the spiral steps at the cabin. Improvements - replace the sofa with recliners that work. The left recliner is broken and was wired fast to keep it from reclining. My wife has some allergies and was bothered with itchy eyes. Not sure why.”

“The property is very clean and organized. We had everything we needed and more. It is perfectly located less than 2 miles from the Castile entrance to Letchworth State Park. After two long days in the park, it was wonderful to have such a nice deck and outdoor furniture to relax on! ”
