“I went up with my best friend to attend a wedding on a different lake in a nearby town. The location of this cottage made it easy for us to get to and from the wedding. While the cottage has lake access, it’s not any type of beach front but you can load kayaks easily. However the ease to find a public beach is easy enough. “This was a really nice unit. Not on the water, but within a few minutes drive time to Houghton Lake, and 20 minutes to Higgins Lake. Lots of beautiful trails, boat launches, and public parks. Located on a quiet street, close to stores and restaurants. Would stay here again. The host was more than accommodating, and made sure every need was met. The house is well equipped, even down to a crate for your dog. The washing machine and dryer were an added bonus!”
