“Room was clean and comfortable. But everything was a little dated. Over all a nice stay for a good price. No pool available at the time of our stay, but didn’t have a lot of time for that anyway.”

“First impression had me worried but we were pleasantly surprised by our room. Nice size, clean. There were a few maintenance needs: bathroom door missing the top pin so.door.ddint close correctly, bathroom door patched hole not completed and a few light bulbs were out. Looks like they are in the process of carpet. Stairwell carpet old and grungy. The front lobby felt cheap and dirty. The lobby couch very dirty. Was not warm and inviting which is why we were very worried to see the room. ...

“The room was very comfortable. Nice and clean. Would have been.nice to.have a coffee maker in the room since the diner wasn't open. Cute diner, but did not have employees for it. We would have eaten there if it would have been an option.”

“We were all very impressed. The only thing that may concern renters is that the owner lives on site on the third floor. She was a wonderfully kind and generous woman, but that might be a put off for some people renting.”

“I was coming to Alexandria for an ice fishing trip and needed a place where I had a place to park a truck with a trailer, plus a second car, and enough room to house 6 people. This place checked all the boxes. Not only that, but it was also the most affordable place too. ”
