“A very pleasant property overall, located in gardens with a lovely pool. However, it was very difficult to locate, with no signage from the main road at all. The hosts were very welcoming and helpful, the lady of the house was extremely charming, while the gentleman was a little overbearing. The room was simple but adequate, however the bathroom could have been better maintained. The breakfast - B&B style - was good.”

“The road to Rainforest edge is not good - and you can miss it. It's only partly tarmac, and that pitted. It's uphill, winding, and goes through a tea factory. But when you get there... “Boulder Garden Hotel is the most beautifull hotel I have ever been to. It is located in the middle of a forest. Except for the rooms, everything is in the outside: the restaurant is located below a huge boulder, the swimming pool is in the middle of rocks. The personel is very friendly and helpfull. The food is very good and relatively cheap (our dinner was 12 USD for two). The hotel is very small: there are only 5 or 6 rooms. So nearly all of it is there for you only. I recomend it very much. ”

“I booked Kurunduketiya as a birthday present for my partners 30th and some nice accommodation to finish our holiday at. However due to poor administrational errors, the resort didn’t have the correct details of our booking which we had paid for in full. “In 2006 eveneens dit hotel bezocht. Het is geen haar beter geworden. De staat van het hotel is nog voor géén "meter" verbeterd. Het personeel is brutaal en arrogant, waarvoor overigens gezien de prijs/kwaliteit verhouding geen enkele reden is. Het bedienend personeel beloofd en zegt dingen toe, die ze absoluut niet nakomen. Vertellen onwaarheden. DE kamers zijn vies. Gordijnen zog net zo vies als in 2006. Sluiten slecht. Airco maakt ontzettend veel lawaai. Douche heeft een vies ligbad met...
