“It is the Best Available Option, pet friendly near to Porcupine State Park. Very convenient if you plan to hike the park. Room was clean and has a good size, beds are very comfortable. Bathroom clean, towels good quality. I will return to this hotel if I come to this area again. ”

“This home was perfect for our family of 3! We originally scheduled it for 3 nights in Sept, but had to reschedule at the last minute due to a family health emergency. The host was very understanding and accommodating and we rescheduled for the end of Oct. We just returned home from our mini vacation and had a fantastic time. “We wanted a short getaway that would accept the dogs. This was perfect. Very dog friendly spot and area. Close to Lake Superior, Porcupine Mountains, and Lake of the Clouds. Modest house, homey. Very well stocked kitchen and bath. White Pine MI is a very small community without many services, which is why I didn't rate location as excellent. But, we came prepared with what we needed and enjoyed our stay. ”

“The first thing we noticed was the cleanliness of the house. Took awhile to figure out how to use the fan to have air flow through the heating vents, more ceiling fans would’ve been helpful for us (we’re use to central air and windows that can open for fresh air). Great place overall.”

“Loved the house, so much nostalgia…..loved the kitchen stove, that worked very well, by the way. Perfect location quiet and central to many things we wanted to see. Loved talking with Tina, she was more than happy to answer my questions about the house and the surrounding area and Pat was prompt in communicating with me when needed. Definately would stay again!!!!”

“This little spot was the perfect place to stay close to the porkies and have all of the amenities to be self sufficient. It was better stocked than most places we’ve stayed across the state. After lots of hiking and climbing all those stairs to get to the top of Summit Peak, the hot tub was a welcomed treat!! Also close to the the Konteka, which was fun to mingle with other travelers and catch a few sports games. Thanks for a great stay! Highly recommend. ”

“They had good instructions in how to find the place, as well as good check in instructions. Nice big private back yard, house was nice size too!! So we all had personal space. Kitchen was nice with a stove that has 2 temperature setting which was helpful, along with all the utensils we needed. House was well stocked too with extra blankets, pillows and soaps for showering!! Had a great stay and would definitely recommend this house!!”
