“We’ve been coming to Lake Gaston for many many years but this was a first at this house. It was by far the most beautiful and comfortable house we have ever rented. House was very well stocked for cooking. Plenty of space for storage and lounging. Our only complaint was the water space off the dock was pretty overrun by grass and weeds. We easily rectified that by going out on a pontoon for our swims. Hopefully we will be able to stay in this wonderful home again. Thank you for having us!!”

“We had so much fun at this house. Probably one of our best vacations! The house was perfect for our needs. It has a shallow area great for kids but also deep enough at the dock to jump in. The shallow swimming area is shaded in the afternoon which saved us (heatwave that week). The kitchen was well stocked and we cooked there most nights. We even caught some decent size fish from the dock. We truly had a great time!”

“Just spent another amazing week at Tropical Paradise with friends and family. The location is perfect being close to Washburns marina for the younger kids daily milkshake runs and off the main lake just enough to float all day peacefully! The game room and loft area is perfect for kids ranging from 6-26 and never feels overcrowded. The owner is amazing and checks in frequently to make sure all is well. We are already planning next summers trip to Tropical Paradise again! ”

“The house was great! It was very spacious for the 10 of us and very clean! The game was a great bonus that everyone had so much fun with. The boat dock was great for kayaking and tubing. The creek was so peaceful to kayak on. We rented a boat for one of the days at a near by marina and had an awesome day on Lake Gaston tubing and swimming. “Everything was perfect. We worked with the owner of the property through VRBO and it was very easy to communicate, ask questions and get answers. We visited twice prior to our reservation date to get a feel for who would sleep where of the 40 folks on our list of invitees. The owner was always very accommodating.
