“Plentiful free Parking outside of the rear main doors, change in circumstances meant arriving a day late but no problem at check in, only issues would be no plug sockets by the beds and the ones available were too close to surfaces which meant hard to use due to leads on chargers and dryers etc, check out at 11am yet really loud awful and annoying organ music and singing from 9.30 am meant no chance of a sleep in. ”

“The room was spotlessly clean, spacious and comfortable. There was a hairdryer and a fridge plus plenty of tea and coffee for a brew. Breakfast was small buffet styles with bacon, eggs (scrambled or poached) beans and you could help yourself to taost, selection of cereals, fresh fruit salad, yoghurt and croissants. Pleasant and friendly, would recommend and definitely stay again. Very close to the pier and sea front.”

“The room was clean ,also ensuite was clean with plenty of towels. We did not eat in the hotel as we were out with family so cannot comment . Hotel is fairly close to busy roads but you cannot hear or see traffic . We were pleased with our choice of hotel .”

“Stayed one night to visit family was our second visit a fantastic quirky hotel very interesting place to stay . Had a comedy night on what a bonus curry and comedy only £15.I would thoroughly recommend a very kind and caring work environment for the hardworking staff. Very nice breakfast.I will be visiting again and hope top tie in with another comedy night. ”

“when we (me and my son) arrived to check in the young blonde girl checked me in but the room was set up with a queen bed not 2 singles she asked if i was ok to hang around in the bar while she personally reconfigures the room she returned and took us to the room made us a reservation in the restaurant and allocated breakfast she was very pleasant efficient and knew the area well superb asset to the pub/hotel”

“Nice hotel. I've stayed here several times over the years. Good rooms that are maybe slightly dated but still clean and well maintained. There is a bar and the staff are very friendly and helpful. There are a limited number of parking spaces at the rear of the hotel that can fill up pretty quickly although there is plenty of other parking nearby. The Dovedale is virtually on the seafront with restaurants, bar and shops all within a minute or two walk. I would be happy to recommend the Dovedale...
