“The staff are friendly but I had an issue with the shower being lukewarm to cold which was very disappointing when you stay at a hotel. I didn’t have a shower because the water was not warm enough. The food is good. On my previous stay the shower was just fine but at this time wasn’t and they didn’t offer to change rooms as they didn’t rectify the problem. ”

“We had a wonderful stay at The Belmont House Hotel recently. We received a very warm welcome from the lovely receptionist which makes all the difference when you have travelled a distance in such bad weather. Our room was magnificent, above average in size and tastefully decorated. We overlooked the gardens to the front and side and yet it was very quiet. It was spotlessly clean. The en-suite was both modern & spacious. Despite the size, the room was very cosy & warm, we felt very comfortable...

“Great find. We only stayed 1 night. When and if we’re the area again I will definitely stay again. Only recommendation I would make as we arrived when getting dark, a bit more signage on the roadside to make it easier to locate. Other than that we’ve no complaints. Pod was first class, stylish modern and very clean.”

“A nice place to stay in the city. The rooms are a bit far from the hotel and there is no park place in front, a couple of minutes walking. The staff is so gentle and they make all the effort to make you feel like at home”

“Myself and my partner only stayed for one night. The cabin was very clean and cosy with everything we needed for our short break. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was excellent, things that not all places we have stayed get right. We used it as a stop off on our trip to photograph the mountains and surrounding areas, this was the perfect stop off for what we wanted. Thank you for the stay, it made our break, we will definitely be booking again.”
