“The location is amazing, especially when spending time on the deck and hot tub. We walked to a nearby coffee shop. Was close enough that we could have walked to many other places but our schedule was tight. I fell in love with the antiques in the home. The kitchen is well equipped with anything you may need. Amy is so kind and generous. If you need anything she is prompt in her response. By the end of our stay, she felt like a friend. Thank you for an amazing experience!”

As a Yooper who moved away, this took me back to simpler times (though the place has great ameninities).We spent our evenings watching the light flash from Granite Island Lighthouse. We were sad to leave what truly felt like home to us, but we'll be back.Thanks to the host for making this exclusive location available.”

“It was perfect for our quick trip to the area for the Marji Gesick race! The bathroom is very tiny with a sliding door, so if youre staying with someone who you aren't close with, settle in because you'll be close by the end! Very cute and quiant. A fairly typical older UP home.”

“We enjoyed our stay, the location was so quiet and made relaxing by the lake amazing. We took advantage of the kayaks and explored the lake. We were within a half hour to an hour of several waterfalls and other natural wonders. We enjoyed Wagler, Chapel and Mosquito Falls one day, the next day we explored Big Springs and our last day we explored the Picture Rocks area including Miners Castle and Falls. What an amazing gem you have! ”
