“My husband and I had a weekend getaway to Whitecap. Although the room was "dated" it was clean and comfortable. Staff was very friendly and we really enjoyed the restaurant/bar. The hot tub was also a highlight of our trip.”

I was surprised it was not busier for a Saturday night but most likely not the ideal time to be touring for most people prior to the snow-sports and after fall colors. “It was our first time in the UP and the lodge was perfect. My wife and I loved, and spent most of every evening in the lounge area playing the pinball and dart games. If we ever make it up that way again, we will definitely be staying at the lodge. Even the couple that we came to visit didn’t know it was here and are getting there family members to stay there when they visit. ”

“A small no frills motel. Check in was wonderful and Todd was very friendly and full of information. The motel is located on the main street of Hurley within walking distance of several restaurants and pubs. I was worried about street noise but it was fairly quiet. No hair dryer in the bathroom but the room was clean and great for a one night stay. Todd made biscuits and gravy for breakfast and they were wonderful. ”
