“During my stay at the VRBO rental, I found the house to be cozy and the outdoor space lovely and relaxing. The kitchen and BBQ grill were a plus. However, there were a few hiccups. “House is much larger than pictures and everything is spread out and comfortable. While it’s a little dated; it has everything you need for a great stay with family or friends. We were 20 mins from Charlottesville and Monticello. There were no check out instructions but we tried to clean things up. The cleaning fee was also incredibly reasonable! We would definitely stay here again with a group! ”

“Initial drive to the property was worrysome with surrounding properties being a little bit under maintained but our over all stay was great for what we needed. The home was very clean inside and exceeded our expectations from what we were concerned with coming down the dead end lane. when we arrived a lawn maintenance person was actively cutting grass, friendly. the entrance exit situation can be improved, you will always have to walk through grass/dirt (no walkway) to unlock the front door...

“We got off to a rocky start as we never got the check-in info (eg code for front door) until we were practically there, but thereafter had a wonderful time. Scottsville itself was an unpected pleasure and the neighbors were cool”

“The property needed a cleaning on the inside… cobwebs and overall dust. It seemed that no one had stayed in a while and was left as is. We had to ask the owner for washcloths because they were not provided with towels. WiFi was working half the time and was Roku so limited to watch anything.
