“When we saw the room was disappointing. In the description it said it has heating, but the only thing it had was a little heat fan. We probably wouldn't have taken that room (or hotel) if we had known it. By the way, our bathroom had a water leak (or it seemed it), but when we arrived at night we found a cockroach in the room and we asked for to change the room. Finally, they found that a pipe was broken. One last thing, the description said "free wifi" and it's true, but only 500MB. Nowadays...

“Thoroughly enjoyed our time at Kaikoura Seaside Lodge. Excellent communication regarding access and keys. Great kitchen facilities. Loved the body wash, handwash and towels in the bathrooms. Would recommend highly and will stay next time we are in Kaikoura. A great asset for Kaikoura.”

“Te Mahuru Tetreat is a jewel in Kaikoura’s crown. A perfect location, easy to get to and not far out of Kaikōura itself. The accommodation provides a high standard of facilities and is immaculate. And now the NEGATIVE: the perfect place to understand why people are moving to private accomodation.
