“What a beautiful spot! We were in the riverside cabin, absolutely stunning! Beautiful 360° views from the campsite and just a quick stroll to get to the beach. Kayaks and paddle boards also nearby to rent for the river. Punakaiki is just a special place, sunshine or rain.”

“El management del hotel hace un gran esfuerzo por mantener este lugar lo más "natural" posible y creo que hace un muy buen trabajo. Este mismo día hacia ido a las termas de Hanmer Springs y creo que podría haberme salteado ese lugar e ir directo a este hotel y sus termas. Lo que me molestó un poco fue que estando absolutamente aislado de todo y sin cobertura de celular cobren bastante por la wifi (es medida con accesos de 10, 50 y 100 mb, y no muy buena). “Beautiful well thought out space. Can’t say enough about our suit and the owners. The location is right on the water with easy walking access to the beach and hiking trails. Our hosts Sandra and Doc were very accommodating and made us feel at home. The suit was like new fitted with high end modern appointments. The breakfast that they provided was just what we needed. Had we known how nice this place was we would have scheduled this in our plans for a few more days. ”

“A well aged puzzle piece bach, in NZ forest, tucked down a dead end road. Surprising amount of traffic on the road during our stay. Neighbours were quite noisy also but the bach had everything we needed. Hot water for a shower was a bonus. The old Shacklock range is prone to smoking out the bach but I think we figured it out after a few days. Reliable cell service is back at the Orwell Creek Road turnoff, for those wondering. For a last minute booking, it worked out well and appreciate the good...
