“Bereits an der Hauptstraße B300 gibt es eine Beschilderung zur Lodge. Die ca. 70 km lange Anfahrt erfolgt über eine Sandpiste, die nur mit einem Allradfahrzeug zu bewältigen ist. Die Begrüßung war sehr persönlich und das Personal sehr freundlich und bemüht. Die angebotenen Aktivitäten wurden sehr individuell durchgeführt. Die Ausstattung des Luxuszeltes war hervorragend. Alles super sauber. Das Frühstück und Abendessen waren sehr gut. Alle Getränke auch tagsüber waren inklusiv.”

“Wow! Fantastic stay, superior staff, super friendly, and absolutely peaceful. The lodge is small, about 8 units, in the middle of a reserve with tranquility. The food was absolutely amazing. Animals on site and inspiring. Make a call to be let in the gate when you arrive.”

“Die Lage ist großartig, die Mitarbeiter freundlich, wertschätzend und stets mit einem Lächeln. Den General Manager nehme ich allerdings ausdrücklich aus. Alle Zelte liegen perfekt mit Blick auf dem Fluss, die Verpflegung ist sehr gut. Auch in Bezug auf die Nachhaltigkeit gibt sich das Camp große Mühe. “Gweta Lodge was a perfect break point in our journey, we stayed two nights. The staff are super friendly and helpful. We had a lovely village walk one morning, and then enjoyed the evening drive to the pans visiting the Bushmen and the meerkats on the way. The facilities are good enough to make you feel relaxed and at home. We had a lovely time.”

“Rooms clean and comfortable. A little attention to detail,by the management will make the good. Management forgot to send food from Gabs so staff had nothing to srve in restaurant. Staff need to be empowered to sort out basics like this. You will note by now, that staff try but failure lies at the owners door. Swimming is dry as water gets pumped for miles to the area. Make pool smaller and it might be feasible to fill. The overall place needs maintenance and care as its a bit run down. ”

“Le point positif est que le logement n'est pas cher. Par contre, la qualité va avec. La chambre était OK mais pas la salle de bain : le lavabo était rempli de poussière, la douche s'évacuait très lentement et la chasse fuyait... Ils avaient proposé de nous préparer un diner mais une fois sur place, on a appris qu'ils n'avaient rien prévu Par contre, le petit déjeuner était très bien”
