“I was appalled at this place. I took pictures to have verification…mold on the outside of every AC unit, massive dumpster in front of hotel near entrance, rust all over the bathtub, husband had to fix the toilet as it wouldn’t flush, patchwork drywall unfinished, holes along baseboards into walls, TP shoved into prep hole of door,ceiling tiles missing in hallway, stains on the bathroom towels. We couldn’t get a refund because we booked through Hotels.com but we sure as heck paid out our hard...

“The peaceful setting high above the James was only interrupted by the infrequent passing freight trains across the river. The sunsets were colorful and the clear moonless nights burst with stars, especially looking up from the hot tub.
