“The old/new farm house is by far the best place we have stayed. It was amazing! The house was perfect inside and outside. Every little detail was well thought out and perfect. The bedrooms each had their own new bathrooms. The outdoor fire pit area was a big hit with our group, everything was new in the kitchen and the rest of the home. “Cozy, neat and perfect location for recent AT section hike. Great for slack packing days around McAfee Knob and Dragon’s Tooth trail attractions. Playground in town was perfect for the grandkids play time. Close enough to enjoy the amenities of Daleville, Troutville and Roanoke. Only detractions were the lack of immediate food options in Catawba and the obstructive view of the oncoming traffic from the driveway. ”

“Exactly as pictured on website, including the tree in living room. Great place if you plan on spending majority of time at cabin. Watched deer every evening from rocking chairs. Didn’t spend a lot of time there except for evenings. Wished there was a tv in living room. Comfortable beds & furniture. Overall , a great place.”
