“Such a good spot to stay and close to the city. Staff are all lovely. The place was spotless. Good facilities. However when we went into the communal space with the pool table and stuff. There was some people in there drinking which is fair enough. But I’ve never been chased out of a room so fast by the looks we were given as if we were invading their space. Other then that pretty happy with our stay”

“The property is excellent. 5 Stars!!! The problem was that we went to the address given on the confirmation but nobody was there to talk to. Since we had no WiFi available we could not contact the phone number supplied and nobody sent a reply when we finally had a WiFi connection. Luckily for us, one of the residents across the street came and contacted the people at Urban Retreats. “We‘ve stayed here for some days to explore Cork region. It was a little tiny for 4 persons but okay though as we haven‘t been home most of the time. Check-in and out was comfortable and easy. We do not have pets, but had the feeling to find a lot of hair though. Didn‘t have to contact anyone for help as everything worked well. ”

“A stay next to the Atlantic but so peaceful. Great view from rear porch, safe garden, access to Skibbereen easy (car essential!).Cottage shows its age, needs more towels and better bedding, but comfortable and all needs catered for. Breda helps with any needs. ”

“The house is perfect for what we wanted. Looking for a place to relax and unwind, with some interesting things close by to do when wanted, but a good place to simple be peaceful and to relax. We did all we intended. Clonakilty is a great town. Grocery store nearby was perfect for all our needs. House had all the kitchen stuff necessary to make meals and feel at home. ”

"They gave me s room just in front of train station...I asked for a change and they said yes...and 3h later they said no...and the day after they didn't ask about the noise or how I sleep... I chosed double room king bed...and they put 2 individual bed together, really uncomfortable. It's a pity because I knew this hotel previously with a good feedback. Unfortunately after this stay, I'll never back!! Too expensive and horrible service"
