“We are very familiar with Earthships and love the earthy nature of the Dobson Earthship in Taos. The road to the 6,000 sq. ft. Earthship was dirt. warn and rutted by their recent torrential rains. Our all wheel drive was sufficient to navigate the several miles of dirt roads. The host, Brenda is wonderful and very knowledgeable about Michael Reynold's architecture. “This place has 360 views of the mountains and you can see Rio Grande Gorge from the bedroom! It’s quiet, private and peaceful. My favorite part was soaking in the hot tub as the sun went down and the moon light glistened on the snow of the mountain peaks! Wonderful place to relax. ”

“I should have told the host that my sister was disabled. She had a great deal of difficulty at the gate and on the path to the front door. All this was complicated by snow and ice. The location suited me just fine and the interior was spacious and welcoming. I loved having a fireplace that I could use. My sister could not take a shower or bath. “This was the perfect size for our family of 5 (including teen/ adult children); everyone had a bed and plenty of space to stretch out and relax. The location is perfect and the views from the unit are amazing. The unit was very clean and had everything we needed. We would love to stay here again!”

“We loved this place, there are some things that need updating, the beds weren’t the most comfortable and we found random sections not cleaned like wrappers in closets. Nothing deal breaking. The bed in the master suite is so loud, if you move a little bit it’ll wake probably wake you up. The wifi is pretty slow and there is no air but it does have a swamp cooler. Overall it’s beautiful, and lovely and quite big but probably would not stay again without knowing some things have been updated. ”
