“Really enjoyed staying here. The hotel was updated and very clean. I is attached to the thermal bath and you are able to take advantage of this easily. The food (breakfast and dinner buffet) was quite nice as well. IT is about a 10 minute walk to parks, the castle, and the main square of the town. It is a bit further to the area with the wineries, but it is quite accessible. I would highly recommend this place in Eger. ”

“It’s a beautiful ungraded hotel in the mountains. The drive up there is beautiful, and there are a lots of hiking trails around. The place is very secluded and quiet. Lots of fun games inside and outside for kids and adults.”

“This hotel was a great place to stay in Eger. The rooms were a bit small, but very clean and everything (shower, intranet, etc) worked well. The beds were very comfortable. And the breakfast in the morning was outstanding. One could easily walk to most parts of Eger from this hotel. I was surprise me to find out they charged for parking -- they said it was to pay for the security system. It sort of threw me -- why did they need a security system if this was a safe area? “Pros: The property is close to the centre of Màtrafüred, where the restaurants are, and it is also close to the hiking trails. It has a pool (though it is a bit dated) a kitchen and dining area for guests to use, as well as a sauna and a nice back garden in the woods. Staff were extremely helpful and accommodating and the room was clean. Cons: The property is right next to the main road, so if you have a room that faces that side, it is very noisy.
