“We booked this rental to get away from our busy lives and relax and this was perfect for us. The balcony is where we spent hours and hours just watching the sun set, reading books, drinking coffee and wine. The location was perfect for us because our only agenda was to relax. We did find a fantastic winery, a few towns to explore, and a sandy beach (dune) that we had all to ourselves to celebrate our anniversary. Also I’m not too proud to say the couches provided the perfect naps, pure heaven. ”

“The cabin and property was magical!The description of the property gave us the impression that you could walk on a trail from the property to Dog Head Falls, which was not the case. It is less than a 10 minute drive, and totally worth it, but we were a little disappointed we could not walk there from the property. ”

“We loved our stay at this property! We were celebrating my husband’s 40th birthday, and his siblings and cousin joined us for the trip—everyone was comfortable and had a great time. One of the highlights was the birthday dinner we had at the large table in the outdoor room—it felt so special.We also really enjoyed the firepit and hot tub, and there were lots of thoughtful touches for families, including great toys for young kids. Not far from Plattsburgh, Ausable Chasm, and a Ferry ride to Burlington. The only thing that may be an issue for some is the stairs to and from the cabin! Not for the faint of heart! “Our stay was absolutely wonderful. From the moment we checked in, we knew it was going to be a quiet and relaxing long weekend. House was clean and very comfortable. The view was amazing especially at sunrise. We had one minor hiccup. We accidentally set off the smoke dectors and couldn't shut them off. Called Josie and she was over to help us out immediately. We were sad to leave but if our lives ever take us back to Alburgh, VT we will definitely rent this beautiful house again.”
