“I stayed here for close to a month in january, had a great time. The area is beautiful, the cabin was warm and comfortable even in the middle of january once i had the woodstove going, very nice quiet area. You won't see a single person anywhere near the cabin, it was pretty secluded and extremely private, but still reasonably close to some small towns. “This was our fourth time staying at Tom’s house for a winter weekend with a large group of friends (which now includes young kids). We love the location, close to Craftsbury Outdoor Center and Hill Fsrmstead, and that you can have dogs. Kitchen is stocked to cook for a group. And plenty of room for a large group! “Loved it! The isolation is exactly what we needed. I enjoyed keeping the wood stove going and checking on the solar and generator personally. Would recommend to anyone to listen to John's directions exactly...dont trust your gps(although we found Google Maps and Waze to work perfect)..the cabin is on a dead end private road in the mountains...our friends found that apple maps sent them down a snow mobile trail, luckily a wrecker was able to get to them and tow them out. Endless trails and forest...

“The apartment had everything we needed for a comfortable stay and was well cleaned. There’s a great little market (Buffalo Grocery) across the street and it’s relatively close to Craftsbury Outdoor Center (destination). Our bed was comfy. ”
