“Was a fun weekend get away with my wife. Our king size room over looked the lake. Room was nice! Bed was comfortable. We ice skated. Swam. Used the hot tub. Canoe & Paddle was great for food and drinks. Fun entertainment. Breakfast buffet was surprisingly good for the low price it was. Overall I’d recommend this place in winter. Lots to do outside.”

“A very nice property that has lots of amenities. I do wish our room had more storage. Only two hangers in the closet. Could have used hooks and bench by the door for hats and jackets. A dresser for clothes would have been nice, especially since there were such limited hangers in the closet. Also would’ve appreciated the option of having recycling available in our room.”

“Great historic hotel in Walker. We stayed in the winter and it was easy to drive on the ice at the nearby public access. Rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. Front of house staff were welcoming and helpful.”

“The check in was very odd. There was no notification in the reservation that we had to go to a business office to pick up keys. The address provided was for the actual unit and the business office was several blocks away. It was not in the resort neighborhood that contained the condo. The condo was nice but it had snowed and no one attempted to clean off the front walk and stairs, that were very slippery. Also, there were two vehicles parked in from of the garage, making it difficult to park in...

“Conveniently located to Brainerd International Raceway, about 10 minutes away. Not clean under dust ruffle on bed. Breakfast adequate to get something in you and go.Shower barely adequate, took 5 minutes for luke warm water to appear. If you are looking for a place to crash, reasonably priced, this will do it.”

“Nice, clean, quiet hotel with comfortable, spacious rooms and very soft beds. There was a smart TV in our room, which was a great change from the usual limited local cable of most hotels. The continental breakfast had plenty of simple options, even vegetarian and vegan options, including fresh fruit, oatmeal, and bagels. There is no cooked food like eggs, biscuits, etc... but there is a waffle maker and batter. Walker is a beautiful, vibrant, active town, even in winter, but the dining options...
