“The breakfast was excellent, drinks and popcorn were a welcomed site on our arrival, the comfort of our bed was fabulous, and I loved the corner windows. Probably the only thing that could have made our stay a little better would have been an electrical outlet in the bathroom. Otherwise, we hope to return some day. Thank you David for being such a great host.”

“Perfect for a weekend getaway! Just 15 miles from historic downtown Jefferson where we spent the days. Then back to the cabin on Lake of the Pines to watch the sunset on the porch of the cabin. So quiet the only noise was the birds at the water and the squirrels chattering and playing. ”

“For the price I figured it wouldn’t be worth staying at. But all I needed was a place to sleep for work. It looked like all of the tenants were there for work. Large parking spaces, everything worked in the motel room, updated recently, and very nice people. Couldn’t beat the price and location was perfect.”

“Cabin was clean with several amenities. Had a slight issue with the mini splits and their timer settings. The owner came out and got them fixed. Worked flawlessly thru the night. He did mention it had happened once or twice before and they should have them fixed now. He was more than willing to help. Enjoyed our stay. ”

“This cabin is beautiful. The interior is clean and comfortable and has just about everything you'd need for a short stay. We enjoyed the accommodations for sure. Now the bad part, the hot tub wasn't working the first night we arrived. The host was super responsive and offered to send someone out that night to fix it. We told her that the next morning was perfectly fine. We spent the day in Jefferson, maintenance came out to fix the hot tub. When we got back from Jefferson, the hot tub was on and...

“The house wreaked of moth balls. It was not clean. The outside deck was filthy as something had been spilled all under the table and chairs and was sticky. There were crumbs on the floor and smudges all over the sliding glass door that was near impossible to open. The hot tub was very small and immediately foamed up when we turned it on. I’ve stayed in many VRBO properties and have never had one so misrepresented and so unclean. We ended up staying for one hour and left. I have asked the owner...
