“We booked a particular room and when we arrived they put us in a different room. I explained to the front desk clerk what room I booked and she said that that was not how the booking came across from Expedia and that we had to pay an additional$20 in cash to get the correct room after the clerk ran my card 3 times and told me I had to pay cash for the room because none of my cards would go through. She asked for my driver's license 3 times. Everything just seemed very strange”

“Pros...the house is a nicely decorated rustic cabin. The sleeping arrangements were perfect for our mixed age level family. Plenty of space for our large group. Beautiful scenery. Plenty of parking space. Cons...the water had a sulphuric smell (not uncommon in cabins), but strong. There were quite a few flys in the house for late November. There was a pipe leaking downstairs that was giving off a really bad smell, making the basement uncomfortable for use. We did however just go buy candles to...

“What a great week away from the business of life. Great location: golf course across the street, on the lake for boating, sand bar, fishing, walking around the island, golf carting if you bring one, and great community of friendly people. We had 8 people stay comfortably, 1 restroom is a bit challenging but do able. Parking is a little struggle for day guests. Only 3 parking spots including 1 in the garage.
